Syncing Your Foxhole Calendar with Airbnb

Managing multiple booking platforms can be challenging, but Foxhole makes it easy by allowing you to sync external calendars like Airbnb and Google Calendar. With ICS file imports and exports, you can keep your availability up-to-date across platforms without manual updates. Follow these steps to sync your Foxhole Calendar with Airbnb seamlessly.

Step 1: Get the Airbnb Calendar Link

1. Log into your Airbnb account.
2. Click on the Hosting tab.
3. Navigate to Calendar from the menu.
4. In the right-hand sidebar, go to the Availability tab.
5. Scroll down to the section labeled Sync calendars.
6. Copy the Airbnb calendar URL – this will be used to import Airbnb bookings into Foxhole.

Step 2: Import Airbnb Calendar into Foxhole

1. Open your Foxhole dashboard.
2. Navigate to your listing settings or calendar settings.
3. Locate the option to import an external calendar.
4. Paste the Airbnb ICS URL into the designated field.
5. Save the changes – Foxhole will now fetch Airbnb bookings automatically.

Step 3: Export Your Foxhole Calendar to Airbnb

1. In Foxhole, find the option to export your booking calendar as an ICS file.
2. Copy the Foxhole “Booking Export ICS” link.
3. Return to your Airbnb Calendar settings.
4. Click Add a calendar connection and choose Import.
5. Paste the Foxhole ICS URL, name your calendar, and click Save.

This step ensures Airbnb is aware of any bookings made through Foxhole, preventing double bookings.

• Sync Timing: Airbnb updates imported calendars every 2-3 hours, so changes may not reflect instantly.
• One-Way vs. Two-Way Sync: While Airbnb allows one-way imports from Foxhole, it does not support instant two-way syncing—meaning blocking off a date in Foxhole won’t immediately remove availability on Airbnb until the next sync.
• Manually Refreshing Sync: If you need faster updates, you can manually refresh your imported calendar in Airbnb.
