Are you tired of overpriced housing?
Tired of scrambling for a place to stay during PCS or TDY?
Tired of wasting hours chasing down the perfect deal that disappears overnight?
Yeah, so were we.
Back when we were in uniform, finding legit housing was one of the biggest headaches. No centralized platform. No military-specific filters. Just stress.
So we built Foxhole—a military-only housing platform that actually gets it.
Because we believe the military community deserves better.
Because we believe we can take care of our own.
And because we’re done handing over our BAH to platforms that have no clue what we go through.
Foxhole is our answer.
Built by the military. For the military.
Foxhole is headquartered deep in “The Boot”—Louisiana, where two Infantry Officers put their heads together after one too many nightmare PCS moves. The goal was simple: build a better way for military members to travel, connect, and find housing they can actually trust. That idea became Foxhole.
William Collins grew up in a lineage of Army officers, where service and leadership were the family business. After earning his Master’s degree and playing college football as a quarterback, he commissioned as an Infantry Officer through ROTC, graduating as a Distinguished Military Graduate.
William served four years at Fort Johnson, Louisiana, where he quickly made a name for himself. He took Company Command as a First Lieutenant—an uncommon feat—and built a reputation for mission focus and uncompromising standards. Upon transitioning from active duty, he didn’t slow down. While on terminal leave, he built Foxhole from scratch.
From designing the platform architecture to running marketing, sales, user onboarding, and customer service, William oversaw every detail of Foxhole’s launch. His operational discipline, product instincts, and understanding of the military user shaped Foxhole into what it is today: the first military-only BnB platform in the industry.
As the CEO, William continues to lead day-to-day operations, product development, and host acquisition. His mission is clear: make Foxhole the most trusted name in military travel—and the most host-friendly platform in the market.
Spencer Collazos is the Co-Founder of Foxhole and a former Infantry Officer who commissioned from the United States Military Academy at West Point. After earning his Ranger Tab and serving with distinction in the 75th Ranger Regiment, Spencer went on to command a light infantry company following his graduation from the Maneuver Captains Career Course.
While in command at Fort Johnson, Louisiana, a brand-new Second Lieutenant walked into his office for an initial counseling session—William Collins. The rest, as they say, is history.
Years later, Spencer helped launch Foxhole alongside Collins, bringing the same high standards and clarity of mission from the Army into the private sector. Today, he supports Foxhole’s strategic direction, offering mentorship, operational insight, and leadership guidance as the company scales.
Spencer remains actively involved in shaping the long-term vision of Foxhole while balancing life as a devoted husband and father. His legacy in the company is simple: mission-first, people-always, and standards never compromised.
