Foxhole partners with Stripe Connect to process all payments securely. Guests pay directly through the platform. Hosts receive payouts automatically via Stripe once payment is cleared. All taxes are pulled from Stripe. As a host, to receive your payout, you must setup your Stripe account.
As a guest, only verified active duty, dependents or veterans can book stays.
As a host, a military member or civilian can list their property. If you are a civilian host, you must submit an application to Foxhole to gain access to our platform.
Every user—guest or host—must complete a one-time military verification through Verify Pass before using the platform. This keeps the community safe, trusted, and military-only.
For short-term stays (under 28 days), Foxhole charges a 10% Host Service Fee.
For long-term stays (28+ days), Foxhole charges a one-time Finder’s Fee (15% of the first month’s rent).
There are no monthly cuts, no hidden fees.
Guests request stays for 28+ days by using the "Long-Term Stay Request Button". Hosts review and approve the request. Once approved, the guest pays the first month’s rent upfront (Stripe divides the payment 85% to the host and 15% to Foxhole, while Foxhole covers the payment fee).
All future payments, deposits, or lease agreements are handled directly between the host and guest.
All guests are verified military. Foxhole also offers optional security deposit tools, guest communication records, and support for hosts if issues arise. You set your house rules, fees, and requirements.
Yes. For long-term stays, Foxhole encourages hosts to provide a simple lease or rental agreement directly to the guest after payment. Hosts handle all lease documents outside the platform, keeping it flexible.
Yes! Foxhole receipts meet TLE requirements, just like a hotel. Please follow our TDY Guide or contact our support team.
On a $100 stay, other platforms will charge the guest $118, while making $17 off that stay. At Foxhole, on a $100 stay, we only make $6 a stay. Why? We are here to serve you, not take your money when you need a place to stay.
